What 3M tape actually is
The tape used on MetalX self-adhesive tactile studs is a high-bond acrylic foam tape from the same family used to attach exterior trim to vehicles and cladding panels to buildings. Where adhesive studs should not be used

Exterior pavements with freeze-thaw cycles and vehicle over-run should use stem-fixed studs in epoxy. Getting the installation right
